Butterfly Marketing | Article #259 :BUTTERFLY MARKETING – PART 1
When I first heard the term “Butterfly Marketing” I thought to myself, “What the heck is that?” It sounded like some more hype. I mean what do Butterflies have to do with marketing? Well, the concept is built off of a principal that has had philosophers contemplating the meaning of life for centuries.
To give you an idea of what the Butterfly Marketing concept is about, imagine that we had learned about the attack on Pearl Harbor before it actually came and were able to put a stop to it. Would the United States have then gotten into the war? If they hadn’t, would the allied troops have eventually defeated Hitler? Would Europe be the Europe of today?
What would have happened if Lincoln had not done the unpopular thing and not freed the slaves? Would there have been a Civil War? If not, would we still have slavery in the United States today? If we did, what would race relations be like in a land with slaves? We think we have problems now, but can you imagine?
What if Pontius Pilate had decided to let Jesus go? We wouldn’t have had a crucifixion, there’d be no Christianity, no Catholic Church, no reformation, and on and on. The world we live in today would be a completely different place.
The point of Butterfly Marketing is that each man and each event makes a difference. Sometimes just telling one person about an idea can mean the difference between that idea laying dead on the floor or becoming the next big thing. Believe me, one man, or one woman, can make a difference.
The question then remains. How do we take advantage of this “butterfly” effect? Well, while the concept seems simple, the process itself is not so. Remember, every action that you and other people take will have consequences. So deviating from the plan just one little bit can mean the difference between the plan succeeding or ending up to be just another Internet marketing failure.
In the articles to follow, we will get a little in depth into how the Butterfly Marketing machine works. We’ll go through the basic steps of launching a new product from the pre-launch to the actual launch to the post-launch. While we can’t go over these things is great detail, we will try to give you enough information to make an informed decision as to whether or not you want to learn more.
Butterfly Marketing is indeed a powerful concept. If done properly, it can bring you results the likes of which you have never seen before. But make no mistake about this concept. There is a ton of pre-planning involved; maybe more than for anything else you’re going to do when it comes to Internet marketing. But if you have the discipline to go through each step, you’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish. Personally, I’ve achieved results that I never thought possible in my life, and I was already having a decent amount of success. Butterfly Marketing has just sent that success to a whole new place.
