Butterfly Marketing | Article #264 :BUTTERFLY MARKETING – PART 6

In this installment of Butterfly Marketing, we’re going to move into the post-launch phase of the launch. We’re in the home stretch now so hang on and we’ll cover what you need to know during this part of the launch.

The post-launch is really what Butterfly Marketing is all about because this is where you have to keep the momentum going. In the pre-launch it’s easy because you’ve created the buzz. But now the initial buzz is gone and you want to keep things moving along.

So how do we do that? Well, let me start off by saying that this section of the manuscript is close to 100 pages by itself, so we can’t possibly cover it all.

The main thing we want to achieve is what Mike calls having your site running on “set and forget”. In order to achieve this, you have to reach a point where you’re getting 100 members per day to join your site. Once this happens, the site will perpetuate itself.  After it gets to that point, all you have to do is occasionally put out the word again, maybe every 3 months or so. But, how do we get our site to that point where we’re getting 100 new members everyday?

This is where the Butterfly Effect really comes into play.

When you get people to buy your product or join your site, you want to give them enormous incentive to promote the site for you. One of the ways to do this is to make it as easy as possible for them to do this. That means providing them with all the tools that they will need.

Part of doing that is making the affiliate program that they join as easy to join as possible. You don’t want them to have to jump through a zillion hoops just to get their affiliate ID. You want this to be as easy and as painless as possible.

After you give them their affiliate ID, you want to give them plenty of tools. This includes giving them pre-written ads, banners, splash pages for them to use at traffic exchanges, articles for them to post, e-zine ads, tell a friend text and so on. This package in itself is loaded with viral material as each article in these volumes can be used in a number of ways. This is the key to making an affiliate program easy enough for people to use.

The more tools you give to people to use to promote your product, the more promotion they’ll do. The more promotion they do, the more sales you make. Eventually, if you keep this viral effect going you may very well reach that point where you are getting 100 members to your site everyday without having to life a finger.

Obviously, putting together all these materials for your affiliates to use is going to be a ton of work, but you only have to do it once and then you’re done.
