Phsychology | Article #269 :IS INTERNET MARKETING RULING YOUR LIFE?

Today, I decided to take a look at what my day is like. Did you ever do that? You know, sit back and take a look at what you do on a daily basis. I decided to do just that today and this is what I discovered.

Internet marketing was ruling my life.

Now, don’t get me wrong. I love what I do. When I’m doing something like watching TV or even going out to the store, I feel like I’m not making the most efficient use of my time. It’s not like there’s anything so great on the TV that I have to watch it. Okay, maybe 24, but that’s about it.

My day is quite fulfilling. I get up at around 6:30 and head straight for the computer. The first thing I do is my email marketing for “Secrets Of The Big Dogs.” It’s a program I’ve been using for 4 years now and it still makes me about $1200 each month for 30 minutes work a day.

After I finish those mailings, I do my safelist mailings for my main business. I like the shotgun approach so I use IPostAd to send my ad to millions. I also use Mike Filsaime’s Ad Blaster, which I love.

After I do that, I go to my massive Veretekk system and do my marketing for my main business through the Veretekk system. For $41 a month, it’s quite a bargain.

After I finish my Veretekk mailings, I then move on to another one of my sites, my Home Biz Help Center. This is where I review programs and where you’ll find a few of the articles that have appeared in these many volumes.  I’d say about 13 of the 100 volumes can be found in bits and pieces on this site, which until now has been kept quite a secret in itself. Its Alexa rank is only about 500,000 because I don’t promote the site at all. It’s only for special friends.

Anyway, I do my daily update for this site which can be anything from adding another article to reviewing another product.  I try to updated the site as often as I can.

After I do that, I write all my new ads for the next day. That’s right, I write new ads everyday. Hey, I love to write.

Then comes the real fun. Next is when I update all my autoresponders with new messages, write articles for my various niches and basically work on whatever new project I have going. Currently, it’s this one and it should keep me busy for quite some time.

When my day ends, it’s about 10:30 at night. I’ve taken breaks to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner; exercise for about 20 minutes, play my guitar for about 30 minutes and watch a rare TV program. Except for Sunday when I go to church, that is pretty much my day.

I love every minute of it. If I wasn’t doing this, I’d go crazy.

But what about your day? Do you REALLY enjoy doing what you’re doing, or has Internet marketing taken over your life simply as a means to an ends? If so, maybe you need to take a step back and look at what you’re doing.

If you don’t enjoy your work, all the money in the world won’t mean a thing.
