$7 Secrets | Article #274 : $7 SECRETS – PART 2

In this installment of $7 Secrets, we’re going to get into the meat of the concept. You are going to absolutely love this. I know I did when I first heard of it and I haven’t looked back since. Putting the following techniques into action will bring you results the likes of which you have never seen.

The first thing you have to understand before you can understand why this method works on both ends of the price spectrum is that information products are very hard to sell if they’re priced too high or given away. If priced too high, people are hesitant to buy them. If given away, they think they are worthless. So $7 Secrets has basically found the middle ground and it works like a charm. How many people won’t spend what amounts to a lunch out on information that may just make them so money or help solve a problem? It’s almost foolproof.

The reason it is almost foolproof is because it virtually eliminates refunds. If somebody buys an ebook for $97 and it doesn’t live up to the hype, they are more likely to return it. But for $7, it’s not worth their time, and thus refunds are almost non existent. Most people would be too embarrassed to ask for a refund for a $7 product.

Anyway, the $7 Secrets method hits that spot in the person’s pocketbook that they equate with that lunch out, or a movie or two packs of cigarettes.  Let’s face it, $7 doesn’t buy a lot anymore. Even Burger King, if you get a Whopper, fries and a drink, costs you about $6. Sure, you can buy off the $1 menu, but you don’t get much for your buck.

Another good thing about this product for the producer of it is that there is almost no support for it. Most $7 Secret products are very small and for the most part digital information products. This makes putting them together a snap. We’ll get to that soon.  But the best thing about selling this product is that it is easy to sell on so many levels.

Think about it. You try to sell a $97 ebook. What do you have to do? Well, you have to put together one killer sales page with some dynamite graphics. Why? Getting people to buy a $97 ebook is not easy. You really have to convince them of the value. But with something that costs $7, there’s no risk, so there’s no need to put together some fancy sales page. If anything, it would look pretty stupid to have a thousand dollar sales page selling a $7 product. So the amount of work you have to do is minimal.

In our next installment, we’re going to go over more benefits of offering $7 Secret products and get into actually how to create and sell the product.
