Warrior Forum| Article #336 : WARRIOR FORUM – PART 1

If there is a king of forums, at least as far as Internet marketing goes, it is the Warrior Forum. As of this writing, its Alexa rank is 489. That means there are only 488 sites on the Internet that get more traffic. That is pretty impressive for a forum. That also explains why some of the biggest names in Internet marketing hang out at the Warrior Forum, and I do mean the biggest.

Joining the Warrior Forum is pretty simple. If you go to the main URL http://www.warriorforum.com/ you will find in the top right hand corner a link that says register. If you click on it, you will see a whole bunch of conditions to signing up with this forum. I suggest you read them as they mean business.  After you’ve done that, by clicking on the agree button on the bottom of the page, you’ll be taken to the next page where they then ask you for a ton of info. You’d think you were applying for a job. I’m not going to go over all the info boxes but I am going to cover the most important ones.

The first 3 are the most important. They are your email address, which you have to enter twice to verify, and your PayPal account email address. If you’re wondering why the PayPal address is so important, don’t worry. I’ll explain it to you later on.

Most of what comes next is pretty much what I call fluff until you get to your user name and password. Word of advice on both: For the user name, pick one that stands out. A new trend there is to actually use your real name. This way, people can really identify with you, especially after you’ve become a successful Internet marketer. As for the password, pick one that is going to be hard to guess. Hackers are everywhere and the Warrior’s Forum is no exception.

The last really important thing is your signature. This is where you want to put links to your programs, but YOUR programs. The Warrior Forum absolutely frowns on affiliate links. As a matter of fact, they don’t allow them at all, as per their TOS. So putting an affiliate link in your signature is like asking for trouble served on a hot poker. Don’t do it!

After you have finished filling in the important things, click on the submit button at the bottom of the page. After you do this, you will have to wait for an email to arrive at the email address you designated in order to confirm that you are a real person. There may be some problem getting this email as the Warrior Forum, for whatever reason, has problems delivering email to certain free email accounts. You’re better off using your own pro email account.

After you get your email, click on the validation link inside of it and you’re officially a member of the Warrior Forum.  Okay, the first thing you’re going to do is absolutely nothing. That’s right, nothing. This is where most people make their mistake. They rush into the forum and start posting ads. This is the biggest no-no. There is absolutely NO ad posting on this forum in any manner shape or form. Even a hint of it will get you thrown out on your ear.

In our next installment, we’re going to take you on a tour through the forum and point out the main parts of interest.

See you then.
