Forums| Article #343 : WHY DO WORK FORUM – PART 1
In this article we’re going to go over one of the more popular and friendly work at home forums called Why Do Work. If you think this is a strange name for a forum that makes known work at home opportunities, it is. But it works. The psychology is to get people to come there thinking that they really don’t have to do a lot of work. Of course we know that the opposite is what’s true.
Why Do Work is pretty much like any other forum when it comes to signing up. They’ve got a register link that you click on and fill out your information. Make sure you give them a valid email address because you are going to have to confirm this in order to get your membership activated.
When filling out your profile, the only things you should worry about are your user name, email address, password and signature. Just like with the Warrior Forum, you want to promote your business here. The difference with the Why Do Work forum is that you ARE allowed to have affiliate links in your signature. So if you are a member of say, Success University, you can have a link in your signature to promote it. Why Do Work is not nearly as strict as the Warrior Forum.
However, they do have their rules. Like the Warrior Forum, you can’t post blatant ads. Having said this, if you make a post to review a program, you can get away with this as long as you don’t post a link to that program anywhere other than in your signature. So there is some room to kind of promote things. You just have to be very careful how you go about doing it. The moderators are a lot more easy going at the Why Do Work forum.
The Why Do Work forum also has many sections just like the Warrior Forum.
Supporters Forum – This is where the paying members of the forum hang out. Membership is like $19.95 per year. It’s very cheap. You can get information here that you can’t get anywhere else including some benefits like your own blog and Adsense revenue opportunities.
General Chat And Introductions – This is where new members come and introduce themselves. This is the only place you can do this. Introductions in other parts of the forum will be deleted.
Support For Stay At Home Moms – This is a special section where moms and dads can come for support with their work at home problems, such as taking care of the kids while trying to get their work done.
In the next installment of Why Do Work, we’ll go over some more of the sections of the forum and some tips for how to make the most of your time there. This is a very friendly forum so you don’t have to be quite as careful with your posts as at the Warrior Forum. Healthy debate and even arguments about programs is fine. There are quite a few opinionated people there and they love letting their feelings known.
See you next time.
