Forums| Article #344 : WHY DO WORK FORUM – PART 2

In this installment of our series on forums, we’re going to continue our discussion of the Why Do Work forum, picking up with some more of the categories that you’ll find here and some tips on how to make the most of your time here.

The Why Do Work forum tries to make it very easy for people to find things here by breaking up the posts into some very distinct categories. And I do mean distinct. If you make a post that belongs in a certain category and it’s not where it belongs, the moderators will move it. Make no mistake about that. So please read the forum rules and most of all, read the category descriptions. I’ll start to go over them here.

Affiliate Marketing – This section is for discussing anything to do with affiliate marketing such as affiliate programs, tools, etc. This is a broad topic in itself, so you will find a lot of information here.

Anyone Heard Of? – This section is for asking people about programs that you may have heard of that you’d like information on. Just a tip; don’t do what other people do. They’ll ask about this program and it turns out to be a link for something they’ve already joined and are just trying to get signups that way. Your post will be deleted in a flash. Asking somebody if you’ve heard of something means you know nothing or little about it and want more information about it BEFORE you join the program.

Data Entry And Transcription – This is where people discuss data entry and transcription jobs. There is a lot of debate in this section if the Google and Clickbank ads saying “do data entry from home” really classifies as data entry “jobs.” So let me clear that up for you. If you are not being paid a salary, it is not a job. Some of the debates here get pretty heated about this subject.

Get Paid To – This is where members discuss get paid to programs such as mystery shopping and survey programs. There are a number of firm supporters of these programs here, even though they really don’t pay that much and at best will just give you some pocket money.
HYIP & Currency Exchange – This is where people discuss high yield investment programs and currency exchange programs. Unfortunately, most of the HYIP discussion is nothing more than people trying to promote illegal HYIPs that will ultimate close up. Stay away from these. Currency exchange, such as Forex Trading, is legal though risky.

MLM And Direct Sales – This is where people discuss MLM and direct sales programs. Many MLMs are nothing but pyramid schemes with no real product so as you can imagine, most of what goes on here is nothing more than MLM bashing, though there are quite a few vocal supporters of these programs. This section gets quite controversial at times.
