Forums| Article #347 : WAHM – PART 2

In this installment of our discussion on the WAHM forum, we’ll continue with the more important sections of the forum. As there are so many, we can’t possibly cover them all, but will cover the ones you will probably visit the most.

Discounts, Contests, etc. – The description here says to list your freebies or things to exchange. This is a really strange section that doesn’t get a ton of traffic but does get some. There are a few decent things here that you can pick up for nothing, like articles. Just plan to do a little rewriting.

Get Paid For Emails – This is similar to the Why Do Work section on get paid to. The one thing I don’t like about the WAHM forum is that some of the sections have strange titles and you really have to read the descriptions to find out just what’s in the section.

Items To Trade Or Sell – If you have an actual item, like a baseball or whatever, (yes, physical), you can sell them here or trade them for another item. Be careful of people trading ebooks. You don’t know whether or not they have the right to do this. Not all ebooks are shareware, so to speak.

Shop With WAHMs – This is where you list your home made items to trade or sell. You can also list gift ideas here. You’d be surprised how many items show up here. Let’s face it, stay at home moms have a lot of time to make those little knickknacks.

Okay, the next section is massive. It’s a whole section on work at home jobs and work at home businesses, and they’re all listed alphabetically.  Here are some of the more popular sections.

Crafting Moms – This is the section for moms who want to make money making crafts. Like I said, they’re pretty good at this, which explains why this section is so popular. Lots of great craft ideas here.

ChaCha – Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you must know what ChaCha is. If not, just go to this part of the forum and you’ll get all the info you’ll need.
Psychic Readers – I kid you not. This is a whole section for work at home moms who are psychics. Hey, let’s face it, this is a very big niche in itself on the Internet, so it should come as no surprise that there is a lot of activity here.

Transcription Services – This is one of the biggest sections of the forum. Transcription is a legit online job if you have the qualifications, which basically comes down to having excellent typing and listening skills. It’s not easy, but if you can do it, there are lots of opportunities out there.
