Success Principles| Article #352 : MY SUCCESS SECRETS– PART 3

In this installment of my personal secrets, I’m going to show you how to get income proof and credibility.

As I have mentioned in other articles somewhere in this volume, you can’t sell anything to anybody if you have no credibility.

Think about it. You send out your ad to somebody with your phone number and email at the bottom of the ad and they call you. During the course of the conversation they ask you how much money you’ve made so far. You tell them you’ve made nothing because you haven’t.  You have no credibility so how can you make a sale? You won’t. So you have to get yourself some credibility and it’s easy to do. This is what I did.

I joined a program that I knew was garbage. I got to know the people there and got them to trust me because of my opinions. In the meantime I tried like the devil to just make one Big Dogs sale. I finally got one, after much bribing. But the point is, I got the sale. I then went back to these people and told them of this program I found and I already made a sale. Well, don’t ask. They started signing up in droves.

Now, I was able to build on that with each ad. In my next ad I said that I had made 3 sales in 8 days. To people who never made any money online that was a lot. Then I was up to “I made $300 my first month.” Again, not a lot, but I was building on my credibility. Yes, it took a long time. But as my credibility grew, my sales started to grow. By my 4th month of doing Big Dogs, I was making over $1200 a month.

Now, if you don’t think you can make that first sale, no problem. There are other ways of getting credibility. Simply work an online job for a while and make some money, even if it’s slave wages. Just make some money. Trust me on this.

The best online job is writing articles for money. Go to Associated Content if you live in the United States. They pay between $3 and $15 per article. Do this for about a month and then start running your Big Dogs ads telling people how much you made. Hey, they don’t have to know that it wasn’t from selling Big Dogs. The point is, you’ve made money online and can prove it. Take screen prints of your income; PayPal statements, Clickbank statements, whatever you have. Just do it! This will be the MOST important thing you do to get your business off the ground.

You will notice that the beginning of making money online is the hardest part, but once you get past this part, the rest becomes so much easier. Why? Because you have credibility. Remember how I said income proof and testimonials were so important? I wasn’t kidding. They are critical to getting sales. Big Dogs will take care of the testimonials. The site has tons of them. You take care of your income proof.
