Success Principles| Article #354 : MY SUCCESS SECRETS– PART 5

In this installment if my success secrets, I’m going to now build on the success that I was having. The one thing you will learn from this is that you can’t make a decent living on the Internet with just one business. It’s just not possible.

Okay, right now I have 3 things going; Secrets Of The Big Dogs, Adwords with that company that is paying me 3 cents per click, and my article writing.

This is when I realized that I had actually put together a step by step system for making a living online that actually works. I know it works because I did it myself.

That’s when the lights came on. Why don’t I just take everything I learned about making money online and put it into an ebook? But I didn’t want it to be just another how to ebook. I wanted it to be a step by step procedural book that tells people to do this, do this, and do that and you WILL make money. I had yet to ever see one of those out there. Mine was going to be the first truly step by step system.

So that’s what I did. I created my first ebook. It was about 76 pages when it first came out and it was only 1 ebook. I sold it for $19.95.

Okay, how did I sell it? Well, remember, I already was running 3 successful businesses and knew people because of this. So I told them about the book first. Some of them bought it, but some of them decided to sell it since I registered it with Clickbank. That is the key. If you are going to sell an ebook you MUST get affiliates. There are only so many sales that you are going to make on your own.

Well, it took quite a few months but I eventually found an affiliate who sold the heck out of my book. I made over 200 sales that one month alone. Just prior to that, I joined my first forum, the Why Do Work forum. They got to know me, saw that I was a stand up guy and eventually, the Who Do Work forum itself endorsed my book and now help me sell it. Now do you see how important it is to network?

But I didn’t stop there. I then joined the Warrior Forum and got to know people there. Eventually I gained a reputation there and ran my first WSO. I sold my book for 50% off.

Now, by this point in time, that one book had become 7 books. That’s right. I added as much information the package as I could to make it more valuable. I eventually raised the price to $29.95, which is where it stands today. The comments I get on the books are amazing.

That is another key. You have GOT to give people quality or you will TRASH your reputation. Word gets around very fast if you put out crap. So don’t do it. Put some effort into what you do.
