Success Principles| Article #355 : MY SUCCESS SECRETS– PART 6

In this installment of my success secrets, we’re going to move on to the next part of my success. This is the part that put me into a new category, and it took me 4 years to get there.

Okay, so far I’ve got 4 things going now. I have Big Dogs, Adwords, article writing, and finally, my own ebook series. But I wasn’t done; not by a long shot.

Over the course of the 4 years I’d been on the Internet, I’d done a lot of writing for pay. But I also did a lot of writing just for the heck of it. I wrote a number of articles on making money online. I never published them. I never did anything with them. But as I read them, I noticed that these articles were damn informative. So I decided to put them in a series of volumes that I called “My Secret Articles.” At first, the series was only about 6 or 7 volumes. But that’s when I realized that if I put this into a volume set that was absolutely huge, I could probably sell it for a decent amount. So that’s what I did.

I sat down and started writing some more. I spent 14 hour days doing nothing but writing. I wrote until I couldn’t see straight. I knew that if I got this package out, I would be able to make a decent living off of it. Mind you, I wasn’t going to put out junk, as my reputation was at stake. So these articles had to be high quality.

Well, as you can see, I eventually finished the project. It was a ton of work, but it was worth it.

The next step was to build a sales page that was top notch. This had to be just so. I worked very hard on it. I had help too. I knew I couldn’t do this alone. It was okay. I was making enough now that I could afford to outsource a few things. See how important it is to get things started?

I then did the same thing that I did with my first product. Except now, I had a real built in head start. What exactly? I had a ton of people who had purchased my first book. When they saw what I was offering I knew that they’d either want a copy for themselves or at the very least, want to promote it because of the hefty 65% commission that I was offering. I was absolutely sure that this was going to be a success. And it was. You are just one of many people reading this right now.

But I didn’t stop there. Like I said, you need multiple sources of income. So I started another niche site totally outside of network marketing. Why? Because making money in the “make money online” niche is the hardest thing in the world to do. Yet, I still did it.

But it was time for something a little easier.

So I branched off into another niche. I didn’t want to spend a lot of time on it, so I set up a simple website from a template, put up some articles and a product and then starting writing just 1 article per day and submitting it to Ezine Articles. Over time, my traffic started to grow and the sales started coming in. All I put in was about 30 minutes per day on the site.
