This is the first place you should go if you are just getting started.
Article #50: HONESTY IN ADVERTISING
"...The term "honesty in advertising" may actually seem like an oxymoron to most people. Just go to the Clickbank marketplace to the category "marketing and ads" and take a look at the sales pages for the top products. Notice something consistent about the sales copy? I'm sure you do. Most sales pages make it seem like it's simply a matter of pressing a button and watching the money pour down from the skies, the Rolls pull into your driveway, the yacht docked at the bay and your 401 K plan already matured in 48 hours.
If only life were that easy...."

Article #51: THE SALES PITCH – EMAIL COPY
"...Okay, now that we've poured on the guilt about honesty in advertising, it's time to actually make our sales pitch. This may very well be one of the most complicated and difficult processes in all of marketing. The reason is because many people simply don't know how to write well, if at all. "...If you just finished reading the previous article on email sales copy, you can pretty much throw out what you read as far as how sales copy applies to sales pages. This is a whole different animal that requires a whole different approach.

Article #54: THE SALES PITCH – ADWORDS SALES COPY
"...Three sentences...Three short little sentences. That's it. That's all you get when you're promoting your business using Google Adwords, or for that matter any PPC search engine. You might be looking at this right now and saying to yourself, "There is no way you can emotionally prepare somebody to buy something in just 3 sentences."
Well, yes and no...."

Article #55: THE SALES PITCH - BLOGS
"...Blogs have become quite popular over the last couple of year. There is no question about it. People are using blogs to promote many products, as well as still for the more common use of just jotting down their everyday random thoughts.
The problem is, most people don’t know how to effectively use blogs for advertising. Many succumb to the temptation of just putting up a little blurb that reads something like this

Article #56: CURING AD WRITER’S BLOCK
"...Now that we’ve gone over a number of different ways of writing sales copy, what do you do when you sit down at your computer and attempt to write some sales copy and nothing comes out? I don’t mean that junk comes out. I mean NOTHING comes out. You don’t have a clue where to begin. The page is a blank void to you.
What oh what do you do?..."
