InfobarGenerator - help section
See the "infobar" at the top of this page? This software will let you have something like that on your own site. Infobar Generator is a very simple application to use. To begin, simply double click on the file "InfobarGenerator.exe". You will have something like the following...
Using the software is pretty self explanatory. With your infobar caption, you can have simple HTML like <i>text here</i> for italics, <b>text here</b> for bolded text and <u>text here</u> for underlined text. You can also edit the text in your web editor if you want. For example, here's me playing with the software to create the infobar you see on this page:
When you are done, click on the "..." button and select a HTML file from your harddrive where you want to install the infobar. You'll get a message like this... The last step is just to upload the files to your website. You'll notice that the software will create an "infobar" folder on your computer, and you need to upload this folder to your website as the message above tells you. The "infobar" folder will be in the same place where you used the software InfoBarGenerator.exe. Just upload the updated page to your server, and upload the infobar folder to the same place and you're done. |
