Typically, movers will have two or three people on your job, and might take a couple of days to have everything transported. So there is obviously a lot of money in labor costs, then transport costs. Movers do not in fact have huge markups on their services like lawyers and doctors often do. So when you get the bill from your moving company, don't be too shocked. Chances are what you pay isn't much over what it cost them to do the job.
